I was three years old when I had a near-death experience that changed everything. I had wandered too close to a flooded river and fell in. As I bobbed along, I suddenly felt my consciousness shift. My little self stepped aside, and my soul took over. Time stopped. I heard a voice saying I could stay or go—but if I left, I’d have to do it all again. I chose to stay. When I popped up to the surface, the puppy my dad had once rescued jumped in and pulled me to shore. That moment awakened a knowing in me that never left: there is far more to this life than what we see.
Growing up in Ontario with a doctor father and nurse mother, I followed a similar path—becoming a nurse and later working in public health. But something always felt missing. I was drawn to people’s healing journeys, not just their symptoms. When I found therapeutic touch, it lit something up in me, and I dove into energy work, Reiki (including animal Reiki), reconnective healing, EFT, and more.
Still, I sensed that the deepest healing happens in the subconscious and beyond. In 2004, I became a certified hypnotherapist, but everything clicked when I discovered the Simpson Protocol and its connection to the superconscious—our soul-level wisdom. This method allows the higher self to lead the healing. I later trained in the upgraded Simpson Protocol, which I now use with nearly all my clients. I love it because it’s fast, efficient, and effective—most people only need one to three sessions.
In 2014, I became a licensed Spiritualist Minister through the Divine Light Spiritualist Church. I’ve always loved spiritualism, life after death, and the truth that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. My clients are often people on a spiritual path who feel stuck or anxious without knowing why. I help them reconnect to the part of themselves that does know—their higher self.
Healing is my calling, and learning is my joy. I’ll never stop exploring new ways to help people come home to themselves.
