Whether you're preparing for your first channeling session or your sixth Reiki one, and whether you're at the beginning of your spiritual journey, or consider yourself a seasoned spiritual explorer, it’s always a good idea to center yourself before a session. How and for how long? There’s no one right answer here, except what feels best to you. Meditation, breathing, music, time in nature or even a few moments of silence can work. For many of you, terms like "channeling" or "higher self" are very familiar, while others might still find them new or even a bit unsettling. Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, we encourage you to be truly present during your session. When thoughts wander, as they surely will, simply bring your focus back to the present and into your heart. As of November 2024, we’ve also launched a new Facebook group: Practice Group for Spiritual Therapists & Healers. This group is designed to create a supportive space where new practitioners can practice with one another, recognizing that finding volunteers early in their journey can be challenging. Sessions are free, and constructive feedback is welcomed.
