EnglishPeter Panagore is a renowned spiritual counselor, storyteller, and near-death experiencer whose profound experiences and wisdom have touched countless lives. At the age of 21, he had a life-changing near-death experience (NDE) while ice climbing in the Canadian Rockies, which transformed his understanding of life, death, and spirituality. Peter is not only a gifted speaker and author but also a compassionate spiritual guide and energy healer. He offers one-on-one sessions to help individuals explore their spiritual path, process their own NDEs, or simply connect with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. Peter's approach is deeply empathetic, drawing from his own experiences to offer comfort, insight, and spiritual growth.
My Story
My journey as a mystic began with two life-changing near-death experiences (NDEs) that unveiled the vast interconnectedness of all things. The first occurred in 1980, while ice climbing in Alberta, Canada. I froze to death, and in that profound moment, I was immersed in divine love, peace, and unity. The second came decades later in 2015, following a heart attack. These encounters with the infinite not only transformed my understanding of life and death but also reshaped the entire course of my existence. For 20 years after my first NDE, I grappled with the intensity of the experience, praying to return to that divine state.
These experiences propelled me onto a spiritual path rooted in mysticism, exploration, and service. I pursued a Master of Divinity degree from Yale, specializing in mysticism, and developed daily practices in Centering Prayer, Meditation, and Kundalini Yoga, which have guided my inner life for over 40 years. My work as a United Church of Christ minister, preacher, and inspirational speaker allowed me to share insights through stories and meditations. My daily TV broadcast, Daily Devotions, reached millions annually across Maine and New Hampshire, fostering connection and spiritual reflection.
The divine encounters I experienced opened the doors to a lifelong mission: helping others integrate their own profound spiritual and mystical experiences. Through private sessions, I listen deeply, blending my academic knowledge, mystical insights, and active listening skills to provide clients with clarity, tools, and healing. Shaktipat—the transmission of divine energy—flows through these sessions, offering a tangible connection to the Light.
Today, I guide seekers through community gatherings like Not Church Live and the Mystic Tea Salon, as well as live teachings and meditations on my YouTube channel. I continue to foster open dialogue about NDEs and spirituality, aiming to normalize these transformative encounters and create a safe space for others to share their stories.
As the author of the Audible bestseller Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death Is Just the Beginning and Two Minutes for God: Quick Fixes for the Spirit, I’ve shared my experiences with audiences worldwide. My teachings emphasize the universal truth that the Guru is within, urging each of us to look inward, connect to the divine energy within ourselves, and discover the peace and joy that come from living authentically.
Mysticism is universal; we are all One. My mission is to inspire you to open your heart, explore the depths of your inner being, and find the Light that has always been within you.
