A personal beginning

A door opened

I didn’t create Orykl because I had a business idea.

I created it because life opened a door I could not ignore.

In 2009, I lost my dear brother Pablo in a microlight accident. He was one of the closest people in my life, and his death was a shock I could never have prepared for.

The first question that came to me was simple, but enormous: What happens when we die?

Is he still somewhere? Can he hear me? Does consciousness continue? What are we, really?

Until then, my life had been full, busy, adventurous, and good. I had never needed to look too closely at spirituality. Pablo’s death changed that.

I began reading, learning, questioning, and exploring. I became interested in the soul, consciousness, life after death, healing, channeling, hypnotherapy, meditation, and the deeper nature of who we are.

What began with grief became curiosity, fascination, and eventually a spiritual path.

The path

What I found along the way

That path has unfolded slowly over many years. And I do believe spiritual growth is slow.

We do not read one book and suddenly become fully transformed. Something opens, something integrates, and life gives us another layer. Over time, we begin to see differently.

Since 2009, I have immersed myself in the spiritual space from many angles: books, courses, retreats, meditation, yoga, plant medicine, hypnotherapy, channeling, healing, and intuitive work.

This way of seeing life has changed me.

It has made me more peaceful, present, grateful, aware, and able to meet life from a wider perspective. It has helped me understand myself, other people, grief, change, relationships, and the human experience in a much richer way.

But I also saw something else: the spiritual world is not always easy to navigate. Practitioners are mainly heart-led, so while their work can be genuinely helpful, the way it is presented can be confusing or hard to trust. As someone with a business background, I kept seeing the same gap.

Orykl was created to bring more trust, structure, and clarity into a space that has brought so much into my own life, and to support both talented practitioners and the people that need them.

The Evolution Of Orykl

Orykl began as a vision.

In 2020, the idea arrived with unusual clarity. I saw the circle that is now part of Orykl’s visual identity, and I wrote down what felt like a download of information about what the platform could become.

Since then, Orykl has grown and changed alongside me.

The original vision was always about bringing trusted spiritual support to more people. Over time, the shape of that vision has evolved. We have learned from practitioners, clients, sessions, experiments, mistakes, feedback, and the very real process of building something new.

What has become clear is that people do not need another endless directory.

They need help finding the right person.

That is why Orykl has become a matching-first platform for spiritual therapy: carefully vetted practitioners, AI-assisted matching, and 60-minute online sessions offering intuitive guidance and spiritual support.

The form will keep evolving. That is part of building something alive.

But the heart of Orykl remains the same:

to help people find perspective, support, and self-trust in the moments that matter.

Begin With What Is Real

You do not need to know exactly what you need. You do not need to choose a practitioner. You do not need to choose a modality. You do not need to have the whole story figured out. Start with what is happening. We will help you find someone who can meet you there.
