My Story
I was born in Tasmania, Australia, into an animal-loving family. My parents owned and operated some of the largest wildlife parks in Eastern Australia, driven by their passion for animals and conservation. They believed deeply in connecting people to the natural world, and their parks became a bridge, helping visitors leave with a newfound love and respect for animals and the environment. Growing up, I was surrounded by a host of wild friends, from baby wombats I’d nap with under my mother’s watchful eye to Moe, my Tasmanian Devil buddy. I thought this was a normal childhood, but I soon learned not many kids could call Tasmanian Devils and wombats their companions.
By the age of six, we’d moved several times across different states, always involved with animals and eventually running horse and carriage tours. We settled in New South Wales, where I spent countless hours with the horses, learning to ride at an early age and feeling a deep connection with these magnificent animals.
After high school, I took a year-long course in Horse Care and Husbandry, and it was here I met a local Horse Whisperer. I was captivated by his unique way with horses and began volunteering with him, trading weekends of hard work for lessons in his techniques. For two years, I mucked out stalls, fixed fences, and hauled hay, gradually learning not only about horses but also about myself. Inspired, I was sure this was my path—to show the world a gentler, more unified way to work with animals. But my vision hit a snag. At 20, I lacked people skills, and I found it difficult to teach others my methods. Young and full of fresh ideas, I struggled in an industry bound by tradition, eventually giving up.
My twenties became a journey of self-discovery, a pilgrimage of sorts, searching for who I was and what I wanted to bring to the world. When I was 28, I watched a video of Animal Communicator Anna Breytenbach talking to a black leopard. It moved me deeply, but I dismissed the idea, thinking it was a gift for only the extraordinary.
A year later, however, I had an unexpected experience while playing a psychic game with a friend. I had a crystal-clear image flash in my mind that I couldn’t have known—it felt like an ancient instinct awakening. I suddenly realized that communication with animals was within reach for me too. I threw myself into learning, diving into anything I could find on Animal Communication. I came across Nancy Windheart and felt a connection with her work, just as I’d felt with the Horse Whisperer years before. Under Nancy’s guidance, I spent two years learning and eventually earned my certification.
Today, I live in the Alpine region of New South Wales, Australia, with my wife and our large animal family. My passion is connecting with animals and sharing this gift with others. When I'm not with them, you’ll find me outdoors, skiing, hiking, or exploring the lake. And I look forward to connecting with you and helping you discover this extraordinary world too.
