My Story
I grew up in a loving, traditional Italian family in Canada—Catholic roots, Sunday church, home-cooked meals, and a deep sense of belonging through food and family. I followed a path that made sense: I got married, had two beautiful children, and lived a life that, from the outside, seemed full and happy.
But something was missing. It wasn’t loud or obvious, but it was persistent—a quiet sense that there was more to life, and more to me, that I hadn’t accessed. I didn’t have any spiritual role models. No one in my circle even used words like “energy” or “healing.” So I didn’t know what I was looking for… until life cracked me open.
At 50, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a shock—I ate well, lived fairly healthily, and did all the “right” things. Thankfully, I only needed radiation, not chemo. But when I tried to go back to my old life, something was off. I lost my energy. I remember standing in a boot camp class, and my legs simply refused to move forward. Seven specialists told me I was perfectly healthy, but I knew something deeper was going on. I could barely make it through the day.
That’s when I decided to find my own solution. One day, I stumbled across a discounted Reiki session on Groupon—yes, Groupon! I had no idea what Reiki was, but something nudged me to try it. That first session cracked me open. It felt like I was remembering something ancient. Later, I would understand: I had been a healer in many lifetimes, and Reiki reawakened that memory.
From there, I was introduced to meditation. My migraines improved. I began to listen to my body for the first time in my life. And then someone said, “Why don’t you become a Reiki healer?” I burst into tears. I didn’t believe I was worthy of such a path. But hearing it out loud gave me permission to try.
That one invitation opened a portal. I trained in Reiki. I started to explore Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) after discovering it on YouTube—and the shifts I experienced were so profound, I became a practitioner myself. In my sessions, I found I could “enter” a client’s energy field—see the limiting beliefs, patterns, or stuck energy—and help them shift it, gently and powerfully, with their consent.
Then something even more magical started to happen. As I offered Reiki, I began channeling messages and energies. It wasn’t something I sought out; it simply flowed through. It felt natural—like the next step in remembering who I’ve always been.
Since then, I’ve led women’s circles, three-day retreats, one-day gatherings, and countless one-on-one sessions. I’m currently writing a book. I’ve seen firsthand how healing is possible when we create a sacred space and invite all of ourselves—mind, body, soul—to the table.
I work with people navigating stress, grief, anxiety, trauma, or simply the feeling that life is happening to them rather than through them. Together, we peel back the layers. We release what no longer serves. And we rewire the nervous system to make space for joy, clarity, and deep inner peace.
This isn’t just work for me—it’s a calling. When I’m helping someone return to themselves, every cell in my body lights up. I don’t know exactly where this path is leading, but I know I’ve surrendered to it fully. I trust it. I live it. And I’m here to walk beside others as they do the same.
