Orykl's story begins on 6 August 2009, a date that changed Huenu Solsona's life forever. On that fateful night, her beloved big brother, Pablo, tragically lost his life in a microlight crash. This devastating loss became the catalyst for Huenu’s profound spiritual journey, a path she has continued to walk ever since.

Years later, in 2018, Huenu experienced a private channeling session that had a transformative impact on her life. Despite the immense value of the session, she learned that the channeler couldn’t sustain herself financially through her spiritual services alone. This struck Huenu deeply — how could something so life-changing, offered by someone so talented, not thrive? The thought planted a seed in her mind about the potential to support spiritual practitioners in merging their gifts with sustainable business practices.

Fast forward to 1 September 2020, at 10 p.m. in Cape Town, South Africa: Huenu had a “divine download.” This inspiration led her to create Orykl, the very platform you’re exploring now. Orykl was born out of the desire to bridge spirituality and sound business practices in one seamless, intentional space — a place where both practitioners and seekers can thrive.

As of December 2024, Orykl offers a directory of vetted spiritual practitioners across 12 modalities, each with a detailed profile linked to their website and social media. Currently, clients book sessions through practitioners' websites but in 2025, Orykl will launch a number of new features, including the ability to have sessions directly on the platform. Orykl’s mission is to be the ultimate platform for solo spiritual practitioners to manage their online businesses, while serving as a trusted place for clients seeking healing and guidance.
